St Gregory’s Catholic Academy was designated as a national Teaching School in May 2018.
As a Teaching School, St Gregory’s, is in partnership with the Diocese of Birmingham, Keele and North Staffordshire Teacher Education, St Joseph’s College SCITT, one high school and the local authority,
Our alliance consists of 18 schools from Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands, representing primary, secondary, faith and non-faith academies.
The Alliance will offer:
- Support for Newly Qualified Teachers
- Initial Teacher Training through Keele University and the SCITT
- Continuing Professional Development
- School to School Support
- Recruitment and deployment of SLEs
- Governance and Pupil Premium support through an NLE
